As Coworking turns 13-year-old this Thursday, 9th August, 2018, RockSpace Nigeria is set to open the first Co-Working Space and Ideation Lab in the rock city of Abeokuta. This much-anticipated Innovative space plans their soft launch to coincide with the 2018 commemoration of the International Co-Working Day which is celebrated globally on every 9th of August.

RockSpace Nigeria seeks to serve as a household community for Social Innovators, Freelancers, Creators, Startups, Entrepreneurs and “Techpreneurs” in Abeokuta and its environs; to meet, work, connect, collaborate, create, inspire and hack ideas.

They are fostering a creative community and providing access to a shared workspace, Internet, utilities and business services with special interest in STEM Education for Learners and Sustainable Development Goal 9 (SDG #9) which focuses on “Building resilient infrastructure, promoting inclusive and sustainable industrialization and fostering innovation”.

The soft launch which would be hosted at their space located at 7, Mercy Drive, Off Kuforiji Olubi, Quarry Road, Abeokuta, Ogun State is aimed at enabling their prospective partners, and subscribers to understanding their dreams and aspirations for the tech ecosystem in Ogun State as well as for more learning alliances and media reporting.
