The Youth bootcamp for leadership and civic engagement project is designed to increase the young people’s engagement with local government in three States in South West Nigeria through capacity building.

Using boot-camp, the project’s aim is to enable young leaders play leading role in agitating for greater accountability within their respective local governments.

The 40 participants Per State (Lagos, Ogun and Oyo) will be trained in various skills including the use of social media and local resources to track the policies of the government, increase the awareness about political issues, as well as lead movements in their local communities to achieve accountability in all levels of government.
