Funding 101 is a tech workshop on Funding for startup founders. We realize that Funding is one of the major issues for startup founders in Nigeria.
We plan to have a one hour session on communications and persuasion that will be facilitated by one of Nigeria’s experts on the subject, Bankole Williams. This will be the first session and will be followed with another session on the standards for startups that get funding to be led by Mayowa Owolabi of Mobile Monday.
We then plan to have a practical session on how Nigerian Founders who have raised funds for their startups went through the process. This will be a panel session with Edwin Ajogun, CEO and founder of eMedRep, Sheriff Shittu, CEO and cofounder of Switch.ng and Fikayo Ogunwale CoFounder of ToLet.com.ng.
Participants interested in attending a master class on Pitching to an Audience/Investor will be given details at the end of the event.
